Job Description

The CDL-A Driver Merchandiser's primary function is to deliver products and provide exceptional service to our small store accounts. This position is responsible for merchandising shelves, racks and displays to company standards.

What will your day look like:

• Ability to safely and correctly operate up to a 53 ft Class-A DOT company vehicle under all types of circumstances, including intercity travel and maneuvering & backing in the close confines of customer facilities.
• Responsible for delivering, rotating and merchandising products on shelves, displays and in various types of cold equipment.
• Maintain inventory in customer's stockroom in an organized manner
• Responsible for keeping coolers, racks and shelves clean
• Responsible for accurate accounting of all products and customer transactions
• Collection of any breakage or out-of-date products
• Subject to working outdoors in the elements (high/low temperatures, rain, sleet, snow etc.)
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned

What will you need to succeed:

• Valid Class-A Commercial Driver's License with excellent driving record is required (with no restrictions such as automatic transmission only)
• The ability to maintain DOT physical requirements
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Availability to work weekends
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company asset
• Ability to repetitively lift, pull, bend, stoop squat, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate and maneuver a pallet jack with a weight load of approximately 2500 lbs.
• Ability to self-motivate and perform job duties with minimal supervision
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• Ability to effectively communicate information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Be reliable, honest & trustworthy
• Have excellent planning and organizational skills
