$90,000.00 per year
Average Weekly Pay: $1,731
$10,000 Bonus
$15.50 per stop
$24 per live load or live unload
$50 per truck move
$15.00-$15.50 per hour
 for safety classes and miscellaneous work
$200-$300
 for outsourced work supporting other accounts
Job Details
Dedicated semi-local position based in 
Norwich, CT
Operate throughout 
Connecticut and New York, including Long Island
Deliver furniture between Bob's Furniture distribution centers
Average approximately 
2,000 miles per week
100% no-touch freight
Primarily drop-and-hook operations
Average 
8 loads per week
Average 
9-12 stops per week
Assigned automatic sleeper trucks
Trucks must remain at the account during time off
Drivers may occasionally be called upon to support other regional accounts
Support freight is also no-touch and may run throughout New England and into the boroughs of New York City
Drivers must have reliable personal transportation to and from the account daily
Shift Details
Monday-Friday schedule
Night driving position with start times around 
5:00 PM
Drivers should expect to be out overnight approximately 
2-3 nights per week
During peak periods (
March-April, July-August, November, and December
), drivers must be willing to work a 
6th day
Holiday schedule:
Thanksgiving: Off
Christmas: Off
New Year's: Time off not guaranteed
Job Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 
3 months of truck driving experience
No SAP drivers
Must be comfortable with overnight travel and night driving
Must be willing to support other accounts when needed
Reliable personal transportation to and from the account is required
Must meet all DOT, company, and account-specific hiring requirements
Safe driving record required
