<h3>CDL-A Local Driver – Baltimore, MD</h3>

TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support local operations based in Baltimore, MD.

Temp-to-Hire: This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to join a driver-focused team with excellent long-term potential.

<h3>CDL-A Driver Details:</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Schedule: Full-time, 5-day workweek (choose Monday–Friday, Tuesday–Saturday, or Sunday–Thursday)
	<li>Shift: 1st Shift – Dispatch times between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM
	<li>Home Time: Home Daily
	<li>Pay: $27.00 per hour (Straight Time)
	<li>Route Type: Local
	<li>Route Area: Typically within 200–250 miles of the Baltimore yard (most routes are even closer)
	<li>Average Stops: 3–6 stops per day
	<li>Freight / Load Type: General Freight (Hazmat loads may be assigned)
	<li>Equipment: Tractor Trailer, Dry Van, Automatic Transmission
	<li>Handling: No-Touch Freight
</ul>

<h3>CDL-A Driver Minimum Requirements:</h3>

<ul>
	<li>License: Valid CDL-A
	<li>Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
	<li>Endorsements: Hazmat endorsement preferred at time of hire; required within the first 90 days of employment
	<li>Equipment Experience: CDL-A Tractor Trailer
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents within the last 3 years)
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
</ul>

<h3>CDL-A Driver Responsibilities:</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Safely operate a CDL-A tractor trailer on local delivery routes
	<li>Transport general freight in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
	<li>Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
	<li>Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork
	<li>Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel
</ul>
