Full Description

  • McDonald's largest distributer worldwide
  • 4-day work week
  • 10-hour days
  • 3rd shift time: 6:00pm-4:00am
  • Assigned set schedule is based on availability: Sunday-Wednesday OR Wednesday-Saturday
  • Paid weekly
  • Top pay after 6-months

Position Responsibilities:
  • The CDL A Yard Jockey maneuvers and backs trailers into loading docks, opens bay doors, prepare trailer, and assist in loading/unloading product
  • Maneuver trailers into parking slips to ensure there is no traffic back up in the yard
  • The CDL A Yard Jockey follows all safety protocols including performing safety checks to secure trailer and operating all equipment in a safe and professional manner
  • The CDL A Yard Jockey uses other warehouse equipment to help load products into trailers
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure they are clean and in good working condition
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid Class A driver's license and 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience
  • Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
