CDL A Details

	Schedule: Start times vary, working 5-6 days per week, 8-10 hours per day, 44.4 average weekly hours

	Pay:  $28.27 Per hour + $6.16 Health & Wellness up to 40 hours. $1,500 - $1,600 Estimated weekly pay
	
	<li>
	Freight / Load Type: Hauling mail
	
	<li>
	Equipment: Automatic & Manual, 48&apos; - 53&apos; trailers with liftgate
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Handling: Light touch, driver will roll mail carts 
	
</ul>

 
CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

<ul>
	<li>
	License: CDL A
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Experience: 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Endorsements: None
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
	
</ul>

 
CDL A Responsibilities:

	Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 
	
</ul>

	Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
	
</ul>

	Perform required handling tasks

	Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
	
</ul>

	Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
	
</ul>

	Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
	
</ul>
