Local CDL A Truck Driver - $27 Per Hour - OT

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in South Bend, IN. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am Start time

• Pay:  $27 Per hour + OT

• Route Type: Local, delivering to northern Indiana

• Freight / Load Type: Paper and packaging products

• Equipment: Automatic transmission, 38' Dry Van

• Handling: Mostly no touch freight, some hand unload with pallet jack and two wheeler 

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport paper and packaging products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including some unloading using pallet jack and two wheeler

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
