<p>Our client is seeking Local CDL A Route Drivers for a component-pay opportunity based in North Smithfield, Rhode Island. Drivers will deliver palletized freight to pharmacy stores throughout the region while operating automatic tractors and liftgate trailers.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>

  <li><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $0.78 per mile, plus $30 per stop and detention pay</li>
  <li><strong>Estimated Weekly Pay:</strong> $1,200–$1,800, with an estimated average of $1,600</li>
  <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday through Friday</li>
  <li><strong>Start Time:</strong> Between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.</li>
  <li><strong>Hours per Week:</strong> 40</li>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>

  <li>Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on local delivery routes.</li>
  <li>Transport and deliver palletized freight to pharmacy stores.</li>
  <li>Use liftgate trailers and electric pallet jacks to complete deliveries.</li>
  <li>Operate automatic tractors and trailers of varying lengths.</li>
  <li>Follow all applicable safety, transportation, and delivery procedures.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid CDL A.</li>
  <li>1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.</li>
  <li>Must be at least 21 years old.</li>
</ul>
