Exceptional Medical Coverage

This role combines professional driving skills with customer service and physical labor.
What You'll Do
Driving & Delivery Duties:
- Secure materials: Physically handle and carefully secure building materials (laminates, plywood, solid surfaces) onto the truck, ensuring safe transport
- Safe transportation: Drive commercial vehicles to deliver materials from our warehouse to customer locations across the Lancaster, PA region and surrounding areas
- Customer delivery & unloading: Work directly with customers at delivery sites, assisting with unloading and ensuring materials arrive in perfect condition
- Vehicle inspections & maintenance: Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, verify cargo is properly secured, and maintain accurate logs of vehicle repair status and working hours
- Safety & compliance: Follow all safety procedures for cargo transport, adhere to traffic laws, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations
- Route management: Plan daily routes efficiently using GPS navigation and mapping tools; adapt to traffic and delivery conditions in real time
What We're Looking For
Licensing & Credentials:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with clean driving record and clean MVR; must pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Skilled at driving, backing, and parking large commercial vehicles in tight and congested spaces
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Experience with route planning, GPS navigation, and map reading
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team
- High level of composure and ability to handle stressful situations calmly
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and remain physically active throughout extended shifts
- Physical stamina for loading, securing, and unloading materials multiple times per day
- Able to work in varying weather conditions while remaining alert and focused
- Mental focus and endurance during long driving shifts combined with manual labor
