Local CDL A Driver - No Touch - $26 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Fort Myers, FL. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details:

	Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am Start until the route is complete
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Pay:  $26 Per hour
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Route Type: Local
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Freight / Load Type: Port related items, and also Milk runs
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Equipment: Tanker/ Dry Van
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Handling: No touch freight
	
</ul>

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

<ul>
	<li>
	License: CDL A 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Endorsements: Tanker & Hazmat required, TWIC Preferred 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
	
	<li>
	Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
	
</ul>

CDL A Responsibilities:  

<ul>
	<li>
	Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Perform required handling tasks including touch freight when needed
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable] 
	
</ul>
