Position Summary:

The Local Driver is responsible for transporting finished product from one location to another throughout the Buena Park, CA territory on a daily basis. This position will cross train in all manufacturing functions as needed. They will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe operation of the vehicle at all times and following all transportation rules and regulations. The Local Driver ensures that all loads are properly loaded, unloaded, secured, unloaded and on time for daily deliveries.

Legacy Transportation Services is seeking a qualified Class A Local Company Drivers in Buena Park, CA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver products to customers safely, damage free, and on time
• Document all deliveries using company supplied app (ELD Systems)
• Load/unload/secure freight in a professional manner
• Assist with Flatbed, oversized and hazmat moves
• Ensure equipment is in good condition
• Maintain a high level of service to customer satisfaction
• Communicate in detail the process of each load he/she delivers to the customer
• Comply with company rules & regulations
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must have valid Class A driver's license

Requirements

Requirements: Experience:

• Driving: 1 year Class A Driving

License/Certification:

• CDL A
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean Driving Record
• Hazmat Certified
• Good verbal/written communication skills
