• Pulling a tanker to designated customer/supplier location using designated routes.
• Delivering product safely by understanding and following SOP's.
• Maintaining a professional appearance for yourself and Bakelite's equipment.
• Adhering to all rules and regulations of both Bakelite and DOT to safely operate company cargo tank vehicles.
• Maintaining a clean driving record while providing exceptional customer focus to both internal and external customers.
• Safely loading and off-loading chemical products.
• Work schedules can include variable start times, weekends, and holidays, according to DOT driver regulations.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum of two (2) years verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Has one (1) or fewer chargeable or preventable motor vehicle accidents within the year preceding the date of application.
• Has one (1) or fewer violations of motor vehicle laws (other than violations involving parking only) within the year preceding the date of application.
• Must have all required DOT certifications by hire date to include Tanker Endorsement HazMat Endorsement, and Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must comply facial hair guidelines for respirator usage (clean shaven).

• Experience with ELD (Electronic Logging Device).
• One (1) or more years of experience driving a Cargo Tank.
• Experience handling of hazardous materials.
