Minimum Requirements

• Driver must be at least 23 years of age
• Must have 2 year of experience driving a commercial vehicle
• No more than 1 at-fault (preventable) accident in the last year
• Clean MVR is a plus
• Valid CDL with brakes endorsement
• Hazmat endorsement a plus

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely at all times
• Comply with DOT Driver Log, pre-trip and post trip inspections
• Label, sign and handle shipments according to DOT regulations and CXI Trucking procedures
• Verify loads, equipment, and deliveries are secured prior to transportation
• Operational knowledge of a pallet jack, two-wheel hand truck and lift-gate to assist in P & D operation
• Ability to lift a minimum of 100lbs. safely
• Ability to effectively read maps or utilize a GPS unit
• Communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner
