TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support local operations based in Kansas City, MO. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Truck Driver Details
- Schedule: Mon - Fri or Sun - Thur, 4am start time, home daily
- Pay: $29 hr with occasional overtime
- Route Type: Running KC stops and hauling trailer loads to local accounts
- Freight / Load Type: General freight
- Equipment: 53’ Trailer or any trailer sizes
- Handling: Lite Touch-Driver will remove pallets from the truck using a pallet jack.
CDL A Truck Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Truck Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate 53’ trailer on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including loading and unloading with hand cart and manual pallet jack
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
