Franklin Building Supply is a lumber and building material company that has been in business for more than 45 years. We have locations spread across Idaho and one in Nevada.
We supply just about everything besides plumbing and electrical to build homes. Our focus is on serving professional home builders. Along with providing materials, we install a wide range of products including framing, overhead doors, insulation, gutters, siding, and more. We also manufacture some products including trusses, cabinets, doors, and granite countertops.

Primary Purpose:
 
As a DOT Driver, your primary purpose will be to load, unload, and safely transport building materials to job sites. Your daily responsibilities will revolve around ensuring the efficient delivery of materials while upholding the highest safety standards and providing top-notch customer service.

 Interact with customers and subcontractors in a friendly, professional manner, building trust and providing exceptional service.
Product Knowledge:
 Continuously grow your knowledge base by learning about new products and processes in the building industry, helping us expand our customer base and market share.
Supportive Team Player:
 Offer support to your crew and foreman, contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment.
Product Returns:
 Manage product returns for credit efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions.
Requirements
Required:
 
CDL Expertise:
 Possess a Class A or B Commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
Safety First:
 Maintain a current Medical Card and be prepared to work in inclement weather.
Versatility:
 Adapt to changes in the building industry, embracing new products and processes to enhance our customer experience.
Tech-Savvy:
 Comfortably operate a tablet and demonstrate problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
Customer Dedication:
 Build trust with our customers, providing a positive experience to support business growth.
Urgency and Detail:
 Exhibit a highly developed sense of urgency and timely follow-up. Pay great attention to detail and possess excellent organizational skills.
