Job Title: Class A Delivery Driver (Shuttle)
Location: Davenport, IA
Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Class A Shuttle Delivery Driver based out of our Davenport BranchWe are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 6 locations. Loffredo Fresh Foods believes that our employees are the key to a successful future. The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting a 53-foot trailer between Davenport and Des Moines while ensuring timely and efficient product movement between locations. This role includes picking up a full trailer in Des Moines, returning it to Davenport, and coordinating the unloading, staging, and reloading of product for outbound routes. The Shuttle Driver plays a critical role in maintaining supply chain flow and ensuring deliveries are prepared accurately and on schedule. Typical shifts range from 8-10 hours, depending on route timing and operational needs.

Pay: $25 - $28 Dependent on Experience
Schedule:
- Days Off: Saturday off with alternating Wednesdays and Fridays
- Start Time: between 3 PM to 5 PM and going until complete
What we look for:
- Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older
- Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM - 4 AM depending on the route)
- Access to reliable and punctual transportation
- Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
- Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
- Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
- Must be able to read and write English
- Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
- Must be comfortable driving a straight truck and tractor trailer
What you'll do:
- SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
- Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions
- Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
