<p>Our client is seeking a CDL A Driver for a local, heavy-touch freight position in Farmington, New York. This role involves hauling empty bottles and cans throughout Central New York and manually loading and unloading large bags and freight as part of the delivery operation.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>
<ul>
  <li>$27 per hour</li>
  <li>Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.</li>
  <li>40 hours per week</li>
  <li>Temp-to-perm opportunity</li>
  <li>On-site position</li>
</ul>

<h3>Job Details</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Local route covering Central New York</li>
  <li>Approximately 4 stops per day</li>
  <li>Freight: Empty bottles and cans</li>
  <li>Equipment: 48-foot rail-gate dry vans</li>
  <li>Heavy-touch freight requiring repeated manual loading and unloading</li>
</ul>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle on local routes.</li>
  <li>Complete approximately 4 deliveries per day.</li>
  <li>Transport empty bottles and cans throughout Central New York.</li>
  <li>Load and unload freight by hand as required.</li>
  <li>Safely lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.</li>
  <li>Perform required vehicle and equipment inspections.</li>
  <li>Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach at each delivery location.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid CDL A.</li>
  <li>1 year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.</li>
  <li>Ability to safely lift and move 50 pounds repeatedly.</li>
  <li>Must be at least 21 years old.</li>
</ul>
