Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment for pool excavation, grading, and backfilling.
- Safely transport materials, machinery, and equipment using a CDL-A vehicle.
- Read and interpret construction plans, site layouts, and project specifications.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Ensure job sites meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and crew members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of construction equipment operating experience, preferably in pool construction.
- Valid CDL-A driver's license required.
- Strong knowledge of excavation practices, grading, trenching, and site prep.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
