Daily Responsibilities:

As a Class A/B CDL Delivery Driver at Star Lumber, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of building materials to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (tractor-trailer combination) to transport building materials to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload building materials using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts and moffetts.
• Accurate logging of delivery stops and DOT time tracking.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing routine maintenance checks and reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
• Collaborate with warehouse and dispatch personnel to coordinate delivery orders efficiently.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, both for yourself and for others sharing the road
