THE FREIGHT
Flatbed hauling of steel pipe and flat steel across regional lanes. Average 2,300-2,800 miles per week, with 40-50% of loads tarped.
THE HOME TIME
Weekend home time, built into the schedule.
THE PAY
$1,500 sign-on bonus, paid on first paycheck
27% linehaul pay
Average weekly earnings: $1,500-$2,000
$40 tarp pay
$50 layover pay
$16 detention pay
$300 weekly per diem
