Transport, unload, and deliver foodservice products and materials to customers within the assigned delivery area. Operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations, applying safe driving practices and skill in maneuvering in tight or challenging delivery locations. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, submit reports on truck condition, and maintain accurate driver logs. Complete deliveries at multiple stops, including some overnight routes to restaurants and customer locations, while providing courteous, prompt, and professional customer service.

Essential Job Functions
Transport and Delivery
Operate company vehicles to deliver products to multiple customer locations on assigned routes
Ensure timely, accurate deliveries in accordance with customer requirements
Scan items at delivery locations where scanning systems are in place
Loading and Unloading
Repeatedly handle products weighing up to 80 pounds
Use liftgates, pallet jacks, and handcarts to safely load and unload products
Push and pull handcarts in excess of 200 pounds as required
Refrigerated Environment
Transport products in temperature-controlled environments
Maintain product integrity from loading through delivery
White Glove Customer Service
Place products in customer-designated locations, including tight spaces, basements, or storage areas
Stage products according to customer needs
Provide professional, courteous service and resolve delivery issues as needed
Vehicle Maintenance and Safety
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Report any vehicle or equipment issues to leadership promptly
Follow all safety protocols, including seat belt use and required safety equipment
Documentation and Compliance
Maintain accurate DOT logs in compliance with Hours of Service regulations
Complete all delivery documentation, including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Adhere to vehicle weight limits and load safety requirements
Maintain all required records for DOT and company compliance
Training and Emergency Preparedness
Participate in required safety, compliance, and recertification training
Follow established emergency procedures for accidents, breakdowns, or hazardous situations
Report safety concerns or violations immediately
Additional Duties
Perform additional tasks as assigned, including special deliveries or inventory support
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card
Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial motor vehicle in interstate commerce
2+ years of verifiable driving experience preferred
Clean or acceptable driving record
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, pushing, and pulling
Basic reading, writing, and math skills for recordkeeping and safety compliance
