CDL Class A Driver

Location
  • East Brunswick, NJ (FedEx Ground Terminal)

Employment
  • W2 company driver

Equipment
  • 2025 Freightliner Daycab or Kenworth Sleeper, both with automatic transmission
  • Maintained under a strict and frequent preventative maintenance program - we operate only safe, well-maintained trucks.

Position Overview
  • Strange Trip Inc. is hiring motivated and professional CDL Class A drivers to join our growing FedEx Ground operation out of East Brunswick, NJ.
  • We're a family-owned, safety-oriented carrier based in New Jersey.

Requirements
  • CDL Class A License
  • Night shift. Must be willing to work an evening/night schedule.
  • Minimum 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
  • Clean MVR and background check.
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality
  • Commitment to customer service, safety, and equipment cleanliness
  • Must perform thorough pre-trip inspections.

Runs
  • Home Daily - You'll be home after every shift.
  • This is an unassigned run out of East Brunswick that can go to various destinations, most commonly Lehigh Valley, PA, with potential for other regional or local routes.
  • We run at least 5 days per week and can accommodate both full-time and part-time schedules. Let's work together to build a schedule that works for you.

Compensation
  • Competitive trip-based pay with extra compensation for hooking/unhooking trailers.
  • Guaranteed minimum weekly pay for drivers who stay flexible and take all available FedEx runs.
  • $3,000 sign-on bonus
  • Weekly Pay via direct deposit
  • Company covers all costs including fuel, tolls, maintenance, insurance costs.
  • Company provided credit card for job related expenses.
