Truck Driver Overview:

As a Truck Driver, your primary responsibility is the prompt delivery of materials to job sites. Given the critical nature of this role, safety is paramount. Any failure in performing duties could jeopardize the well-being of yourself, colleagues, and the public. Join us in ensuring safe and timely deliveries to support our projects.

Truck Driver Pay Range:

• $28-$30/hour
• Paid WEEKLY

Truck Driver Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver various types of materials that are required for each job site.
• Operate truck with a standard transmission.
• Responsible for proper loading and securing loads on truck and trailer.
• Pick up miscellaneous materials at the suppliers.
• Clean up shop and yard when not making deliveries.
• Responsible for minor maintenance on trucks.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Truck Driver Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Class A CDL license and a good driving record with DOT Certification.
• Must be able to drive a one-ton truck pulling a tandem axle trailer.
• Must have previous flat bed experience.
• May be required to deliver across state lines.

Truck Driver Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time.
• Must be able to sit and drive the truck for long periods of time.
• Job requires considerable amounts of bending, stooping, and carrying of metal products.

This role is classified as safety sensitive. Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards. Compliance with this requirement is a fundamental condition for employment.
