CDL Class A Local Delivery Driver – Hanover, MD

We&apos;re looking for a CDL Class A Driver to join our team in Hanover, MD. This is a local, home-daily position offering consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work with a respected transportation leader.

Pay & Schedule:

<ul>
	<li>$29.36 per hour
	<li>Sunday through Friday
	<li>Dispatch times between 8:00 PM and 1:00 AM
	<li>Shifts typically 8–10 hours
	<li>Average 40–45 hours per week
	<li>Overtime required as business needs dictate
</ul>

Job Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Safely operate an automatic transmission Class A tractor on local delivery routes.
	<li>Complete 2–3 deliveries per shift to customer locations.
	<li>Perform minimal touch freight using an electric pallet jack (EPJ), with occasional down-stacking when required.
	<li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete all required DOT paperwork.
	<li>Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
	<li>Provide professional, courteous customer service while ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
	<li>Follow all DOT regulations and safety policies.
</ul>

Qualifications:

<ul>
	<li>Valid CDL Class A license
	<li>Current DOT Medical Card
	<li>Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience operating similar equipment within the last 5 years
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
	<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills
	<li>Ability to work a flexible overnight schedule and overtime as needed
