Class A CDL Truck Driver (Union Position)

Ryan Fireprotection, a trusted leader in fire protection services, is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver at our Noblesville, Indiana location. This is a full-time, union position (Local 669) offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and consistent hours-with no overnight travel required.

You'll be responsible for transporting fire protection materials, including pipe, using a flatbed truck with a manual transmission. When not on deliveries, you'll support our fabrication team, making this an ideal role for someone who values variety and takes pride in their work.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a manual Class A vehicle (GVW over 26,000 lbs.)

• Haul pipe and other materials on a flatbed truck, including towing loads over 10,000 lbs.

• Load, secure, and unload materials at job sites and company facilities

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inspections

• Plan delivery routes and follow all DOT safety regulations

• Assist in the fabrication facility with general labor tasks when not driving

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with manual transmission experience required

• Flatbed driving experience strongly preferred

• Experience hauling pipe or long/awkward loads is a plus

• 2+ years of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred

• Clean MVR and ability to pass drug and background screenings

• Able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed

• Familiar with hand trucks, pallet jacks, and GPS/navigation tools

• Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious
