TITLE: CLASS "A" CDL DRIVER
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The CDL Truck Driver operates a DOT regulated truck to move rental equipment and tools to, and from, branch and client locations. This position ensures that all rental product pick-ups and delivery needs of the branch are conducted in an efficient, legal, safe, accurate, and timely manner. This position also manages the maintenance of the vehicle, both inside and out.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The CDL Truck Driver operates a DOT regulated truck to move rental equipment and tools to, and from, branch and client locations. This position ensures that all rental product pick-ups and delivery needs of the branch are conducted in an efficient, legal, safe, accurate, and timely manner. This position also manages the maintenance of the vehicle, both inside and out.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Loads/unloads rental equipment and tools, delivering the equipment and tools between branch and client locations
- Act as a liaison between customers, and other departments of the branch, to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded in terms of rental equipment delivery
- Uses appropriate equipment to secures all loads for the safety of the public, and company and client property
- Produce all required service tickets, time sheets, and other work documentation accurately, completely, and in a timely manner
- Produce all DOT inspections, logs, and documentation, as required by law, to branch management as required
- Maintain professional and ethical business relationships with all customers and co-workers following the established company policies and procedures
- Be an ambassador for safety, making sure all work and driving is done in the safest manner
- Maintain truck appearance and maintenance communicating with branch management any vehicle deficiencies
- Maintain all types and levels of job-related training as required
- Performs other duties as required by Management
EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High school diploma preferred
- Must have a valid state CDL license with a clean driving record
- Must have a minimum of one-year commercial truck driving experience
- Must have ability to drive with various trailer types including lowboys
- Must be able to travel locally and regionally, participating in an "on-call" schedule
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time in all weather conditions
- Must be able to frequently lift 50+ lbs.
