<h3>About the Position</h3>
<p>TransForce is seeking an experienced CDL A Truck Driver for a local, home-daily opportunity supporting our client’s operations in Lacey, Washington. This temp-to-perm position offers consistent weekday work, automatic equipment, and primarily no-touch, drop-and-hook freight.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>
<ul>
  <li><strong>Pay:</strong> $27.50 per hour</li>
  <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 a.m. until completion</li>
  <li><strong>Expected Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week</li>
  <li><strong>Average Shift:</strong> 8–10 hours</li>
  <li><strong>Start Date:</strong> July 7, 2026</li>
  <li><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Temp-to-perm</li>
  <li><strong>Route:</strong> Local and home daily</li>

<h3>Job Details</h3>
<ul>
  <li><strong>Freight:</strong> Wooden pallets</li>
  <li><strong>Handling:</strong> No-touch freight</li>
  <li><strong>Operation:</strong> Primarily drop and hook</li>
  <li><strong>Equipment:</strong> Automatic trucks, including 53-foot dry vans and flatbeds</li>
  <li><strong>Work Environment:</strong> On-site customer and plant operations</li>
</ul>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Complete local truckload deliveries between customer facilities and the plant.</li>
  <li>Pick up trailers at customer locations and deliver them to the plant.</li>
  <li>Deliver trailers containing repaired pallets back to customer facilities.</li>
  <li>Perform primarily drop-and-hook operations.</li>
  <li>Complete paperwork verifying pallet delivery and retrieval.</li>
  <li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.</li>
  <li>Maintain accurate electronic logs and required DOT documentation.</li>
  <li>Operate tractor-trailer equipment safely and in accordance with DOT, FMCSA, and company standards.</li>
  <li>Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations personnel.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid CDL A license.</li>
  <li>2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.</li>
  <li>Dry van and flatbed experience preferred.</li>
  <li>TWIC card highly preferred but not required.</li>
  <li>Ability to safely maneuver tractor-trailer equipment in customer and plant environments.</li>
