Pay Details
Average Weekly Pay: $1,500
$10,000 Bonus
New drivers start at $0.48 CPM, with $0.01 CPM annual increases up to $0.55 CPM
All hub miles paid, loaded or empty
$65 customer live-load pay
$40 customer drop-and-hook pay
$25 per Hazmat load
$30 per refrigerated load
$15 per empty move
$23-$55 crosstown pay, depending on ramp distance
$20/hour rail-delay pay after 1 hour
Additional waiting-time pay may apply according to account policy
$250 per day for at least 5 full days of ramp-specific training after orientation
Job Details
Local intermodal routes to Chicago rail yards
Approximately 1,500 miles per week
100% no-touch freight
Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire
Hazmat endorsement obtained after hire will be reimbursed with proper documentation
Potential opportunity to transfer to another shift after 6 months
Shift Details
Monday-Friday
Start time: 1:00 PM
Drivers are home daily
Thanksgiving and Christmas time off is not guaranteed
Holiday pay available after 90 days on the account
Job Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck driving experience
Clean driving record
DOT Medical Card
No SAP drivers
Obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days
No smoking inside the truck
