Job description:
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and forklifts
- Load and unload materials or equipment onto trucks.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Previous experience as a truck driver or in a similar role (Manual Experience a plus)
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for truck driving
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
