Brief Position Description
The person will primarily be responsible for safely and professionally picking up and delivering products to customers within a 100-mile radius. This also loading, chaining, and strapping equipment, operating forklifts on and off trailers, as well as performing pre and post trip inspections.

Compensation: $24 - $30 / hour
Responsibilities
Delivery radius of 100 miles, no overnights 
Pick up and deliver product to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. 
Load, Chain, and Strap all items to include unloading at customer drop off 
Operate forklifts onto and off trailers 
Provide excellent customer service. 
Maintain Bill of Lading with each shipment. 
Perform all pre-trip and post-trip inspections. 
Complete daily maintenance report and notify supervisor of any needed repairs. 
Report all accidents, traffic violations, and damage to vehicles. 
Communicate as needed with vendors any necessary changes and logistics to ensure proper delivery of equipment and services, 
Ability to comply with safety cameras being in the vehicle 
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner 
Additional duties as assigned, including but not limited to warehouse and dock duties 
Education, Experience, and Certifications
High school or GED equivalent required 
Class A CDL required 
Must pass a background check and DOT physical and drug screen 
Must meet DOT and Company requirements 
One year experience with Dove Trailer and manual transmission 
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs 
Computer proficiency required 
Adherence to all safety precautions and policies 
Positive team player 
Excellent communication skills between customers and internal teams
