Local CDL A Port Driver - $1,200 - $1,400 per week

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Port driver to support local operations based in Compton, CA. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details

	Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday, 5pm Start time
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Pay:  $34 Per Hour, $1,200 - $1,400  Estimated weekly pay
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Route Type: Local 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Freight / Load Type: Local drayage and general freight
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Equipment: Automatic Trucks, Slip Seat operations
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Handling: No touch freight
	
</ul>

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

<ul>
	<li>
	License: CDL A  
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Endorsements: TWIC Card and Hazmat required
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Equipment Experience: 6 months Port experience
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
	
</ul>

CDL A Responsibilities:  

<ul>
	<li>
	Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Transport drayage and general freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Perform required handling tasks
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
