Maintained under a strict and consistent preventative maintenance program - we operate only safe, clean, and well-maintained vehicles.
Position Overview
 
Strange Trip Inc. is hiring dependable and professional CDL Class A, B, or C on-call drivers to support our growing team. 
This is a great fit for Uber, Lyft, or other gig workers who want extra income and a steady, reliable company to call home. 
When called in to work, you'll run a dedicated local route departing around 4:00 - 5:00 AM from Piscataway, NJ. 
You'll be paid a fixed $50 weekly rate to remain on call, plus the regular route pay of $225 - $315 per day depending on the lane. 
Paid training with an experienced driver provided. 
The work involves touch freight - scanning, loading, and unloading boxes for final-mile and dedicated shipper customers. 
Customer expectations are high, so we're looking for drivers who are punctual, careful, and detail-oriented, and who take pride in doing the job right.
Requirements
Valid CDL Class A, B, or C license
Clean MVR and criminal background
Prior truck-driving experience strongly preferred
Strong work ethic, professionalism, and punctuality
Excellent communication skills
Commitment to safety, customer service, and equipment care
Flexibility to be on call, covering shifts as needed

Home daily
Monday through Sunday routes
Year-round work with steady freight
Compensation
$50 weekly on-call pay
