 As a LocalDriver with Lazer Logisticsyou'll operate predictable, short-haul routes within a 50 mile radius. This role is designed for drivers who want consistency, daily home time, and minimal stress without long over-the-road routes or excessive stops.

Job Responsibilities
 
 
Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors
 
Perform drop and hook operations
 
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
 
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
 
Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel
 
Maintain accurate logs and documentation
 
 
Requirements
 
 
Valid Class A CDL
 
Current DOT Medical Card
 
Safe driving and FMCSA Clearinghouse record
 
Must Be Flexible
 
Acceptable background check
 
Experience operating tractor-trailers
 
Ability to work in all weather conditions
 
Ability to get in and out of the truck throughout the shift
