Pace is seeking a Class A Driver that will be responsible for deliveries between Pace cross docks or customer locations in the Southeastern region. It requires someone who can be proactive as well as assertive, and who thrives in a structured environment involving specialized processes. If this sounds like you, please apply now! 
Key Responsibilities: 
Willing to complete touch freight deliveries. 
Pick up freight/trailers and deliver on time to scheduled locations. 
Use Pace delivery app/scanner to track and document all deliveries.
Maintain good relationships with our customers when delivering.
Punctuation, and accuracy on all deliveries.
Safety First! Driving your assigned truck safely and responsibly.
Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
Reporting problems with your truck including accidents, traffic violations, and damages.
Providing our customers with first-in-class experience.
Perform other duties assigned by superiors.

What does it take to work for Pace? 
Must have at least 1 year or more of experience driving a CDL A qualified commercial vehicle. 
Must meet background and drug screening requirements.
Drivers must be 21 or older.

Physical Requirements: 
Tasks may involve occasional stooping, kneeling, bending; and reaching overhead; as well as the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull objects/materials weighing up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 50lbs.
Tasks may involve extended periods of standing.
Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.
Some tasks may require the ability to perceive and discern sounds and visual cues or signals.
Ability to communicate orally.
Able to work around moving machinery.
Warehouse environment, exposure to dust, loud noise and outdoor temperatures.
