<p>TransForce is seeking a CDL A Yard Hostler to support our client's local operations in San Antonio. This on-site position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. The role is temp-to-perm and begins August 3, 2026.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Pay: $23 per hour</li>
  <li>Schedule: Monday through Thursday</li>
  <li>Shift: PM shift, with start times between 6:00 PM and 5:30 AM</li>
  <li>Start times vary; flexibility is required</li>
  <li>Hours: 40 hours per week</li>
  <li>Employment type: Temp-to-perm</li>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>

  <li>Safely operate CDL A equipment in a local yard environment</li>
  <li>Move trailers and refrigerated freight in accordance with DOT and safety standards</li>
  <li>Load and unload freight using an electric pallet jack</li>
  <li>Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections</li>
  <li>Maintain accurate logs and paperwork</li>
  <li>Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams</li>
  <li>Lift up to 50 pounds and meet the physical demands of the role</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License</li>
  <li>1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience</li>
  <li>Yard hostler experience</li>
  <li>Experience using an electric pallet jack</li>
  <li>No endorsements required</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements</li>
</ul>
