What You'll Do
Your day starts at our Baton Rouge branch, where you'll load drywall and building materials before heading out on local deliveries.
Responsibilities include:
Safely deliver drywall and building materials to residential and commercial job sites
Secure loads and operate in compliance with DOT regulations
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Provide outstanding customer service while representing INEX professionally
Work safely while helping keep projects on schedule for our customers
Operate Boom or Moffett equipment to unload and stock materials (after certification is obtained)
What We're Looking For
Valid CDL Class A or Class B License
Current DOT Medical Card
Clean Motor Vehicle Record
Ability to pass a DOT drug screen
Boom or Moffett experience preferred
Forklift experience is a plus
Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a commitment to safety
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
This Job Is For You If You...
Want to be home with your family every night.
Enjoy staying active instead of sitting behind the wheel all day.
Take pride in doing the job the right way.
Are dependable, safety-minded, and ready to work.
Want more than just a job-you want a career with a company that's built to last.
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of building materials weighing up to 100 pounds. Drivers must be able to climb in and out of the truck throughout the day, secure and unsecure loads, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Why INEX?
At Interior Exterior Building Supply, we know our drivers are critical to our success. They're the face of our company and the reason our customers trust us to deliver safely, on time, and with professionalism.
When you join INEX, you're joining a team that values hard work, respects its employees, and believes in promoting from within. If you're looking for steady work, a supportive team, and a company where you can build a future, we'd love to meet you.
