Learning the Job the Right Way
Nobody tosses you the keys on day one. You spend your training period riding with an experienced driver, running real freight on real lanes, and you are paid every week the whole time. When your trainer signs off, you step into your own truck at full mileage pay.
The Safety Net
For your first 3 months as a solo driver, your pay is guaranteed at $1,000 a week. Slow week? You are still covered.
Where the Freight Goes
Up and Down the Coast:
 Loads run along the eastern seaboard and rarely head far west
Around 2,000 Miles a Week:
 Enough to keep the wheels moving
Dry Van:
 Drop and hook, with some live loading and unloading
Home Every 2 Weeks:
 A schedule your family can count on
Pay Beyond the Guarantee
Average Weekly:
 $1,000 to $1,200
Mileage:
 55 cents per mile to start, rising a penny for each extra year of experience, up to 65 cents
Stop Pay:
 $15
Monthly Bonus:
 Performance plan for safe, on time drivers
Benefits
Health, dental, and vision insurance after your first 30 days
401k with employer match
Paid vacation time
$300 orientation pay plus covered travel to orientation
Rider and pet program: from day one for experienced drivers, after training for trainees
What You Need
Class A CDL and at least 21 years of age
Completion of 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school, or 6 months OTR in the last year (12 months in the last 5 also works)
A record with no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years and no major preventable accidents in 5
No DUI or DWI within 5 to 10 years depending on your CDL date
Ability to pass DOT physical and hair and urine drug tests
Home within 200 miles of Harrisburg, PA
