TITLE: CDL A Driver DIVISION: Transportation
REPORTS TO: Transportation Supervisor FLSA: Non-Exempt-Hourly

Job Opportunity: Class A Drivers in Dixon, CA

COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Gold Star Foods, a premier nutritional food distributor in the United States, is currently hiring Class A drivers for our Dixon, CA location. We pride ourselves on creating a work environment where our employees feel valued and excited to come to work every day.

POSITION DETAILS:

  • Salary: $29.00/hour
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location: 1000 Vaughn Rd, Dixon, CA 95620

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform local deliveries to K-12 schools in Northern California
  • Drive newer Peterbilt and Freightliner trucks equipped with lift gates and both electric and manual pallet jacks
  • Use a 2-wheel dolly for deliveries to locations without docks.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Maintain a clean and accident-free driving record.

WORK SCHEDULE:
  • Monday - Friday
  • Sunday - Thursday

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid Class A Driver's License
  • DOT Medical Certificate
  • Motor Vehicle Record (10 years)
  • H6 DMV driving record dated no later than 30 days ago with no more than 2 points
  • Proficiency in driving a manual transmission
