CDL A Yard Hostler - $23 Per Hour - Shifts Vary

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in San Antonio, TX. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Driver Details 

• Schedule: Start times Vary(Must be flexible)

• Pay:  $23 Per hour

• Route Type: Local

• Freight / Load Type: Refrigerated goods

• Equipment: Trailers are equipped with lift gates

• Handling: Some touch freight, using electric pallet jack to load/unload

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Equipment Experience: Must have yard hostler experience, and experience using an electric pallet jack

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport refrigerated goods in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including loading and unloading using an electric pallet jack and ability to lift up to 50lbs.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role
