Ready to take the wheel and steer your career in the right direction? Marvin is looking for a Local/Yard Driver to join our team! In this role, you'll transport trailers on our facility property. You'll also help loading dock associates with loading and unloading trucks.

Highlights of your role

• Relocate, transport, and stage for loading and unloading to meet required receiving, production and shipping goals.

• Partner with receiving and shipping teams to maintain detailed yard checks.

• Load Trucks by hand in an organized and safe manner, ensuring all products are scanned properly to the truck, department data is accurately recorded, and paperwork is completed thorougly.

• Complete Electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports on tractor and trailer equipment to ensure road worthiness.

• Maintain all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Marvin regulations, and ensure proper documentation of department data.

Enjoy a comfortable schedule:

• Friday-Sunday; 6:00 am - 6:00 pm; Pay $29 per hour ($25.00 base + $4.00 weekend differential rate); occasional overtime as needed.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Valid Class A driver's license (CDL) and minimum one-year CDL driving experience required.

• Ability to meet all DOT requirements.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Also want to make sure you have

• Ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 85 lbs.

• Ability to acquire and retain forklift/industrial vehicle licenses required for this role

• Basic computer skills and strong communication skills.

• Ability to work well both with a team and independently in a fast-paced position.
