Special Construction Equipment Operator-Distribution Operations

$20.78/hour; 2080 hours/year

• High school diploma or GED, supplemented by five (5) years of experience in heavy equipment operation
• Valid South Carolina Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one within six-months from initial date of employment

Must be able to perform skilled work in the operation of construction equipment used during water/sewer system installation, maintenance, and repair. Must be able to operate backhoes in close proximity to other utilities including gas lines, electrical cables, and telephone cables. Must perform all work in compliance with applicable policies, procedures laws, regulations, permits and/or standards of quality and safety.
