About the role
We are seeking a Local 
CDL Class A Truck Driver 
to join our team! This is a contract position starting in April 2025 and ending in December 2025. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safety, reliability, and strong organizational skills.
What you'll do
Operate a truck with a minimum Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 45,000 pounds safely and in compliance with all state and federal regulations
Ensure timely and efficient transport of goods while following all company safety guidelines.
Load, unload, strap, and tarp cargo securely for transport.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good operating condition, reporting any issues to the Project Manager immediately.
Receive goods at the yard and supervise yard logistics
Qualifications
A valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in heavy truck or tractor-trailer driving, with a strong understanding of local and state driving laws.
Ability to handle physical workloads, including lifting and maneuvering heavy cargo as needed.
Must be able to speak fluent English to communicate with co-workers.
Strong attention to detail for documentation and vehicle inspection.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and report any issues.
