Occasional Overnight, Per diem, in hotel

Midwest Motor Express (MME), (SCAC "AACT"), the Midwest operating region of AAA Cooper Transportation, is immediately hiring reliable and safety-conscious Dedicated Class A CDL truck drivers to join the team at our Salt Lake City, UT , Service Center. As a dedicated Class A CDL truck driver, you'll be the face of our company, directly interacting with our valued customers during daily pickups and deliveries within your designated local area. Responsibilities - A Day in the life
  • Operate company-owned tractor-trailer or straight trucks to transport freight between designated locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Adhere to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain a safe driving record and comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies
  • Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport.
  • Manage electronic logging devices (ELDs) to accurately record driving hours and activities.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, service center personnel, and customers.
  • Provide courteous and professional interaction with customers, ensuring a positive representation of ACT.
  • Proactively support operations by assisting supervisors with key tasks and initiatives.

Pay Range: 34.00-35.85 per_hour, General Benefits:

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS - What you bring
  • Class A CDL
  • Moffet experience a plus
  • Flatbed experince a plus
  • Endorsements: HazMat, Doubles/Triples
  • Verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Clean driving record reflecting less than two moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Complete all onboarding requirements
  • 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
