As a CDL Class B Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a straight truck transporting goods and materials locally in a safe and timely manner.

We currently have an 8am shift available - this is a full-time position out of our Elk Grove Village Terminal. The schedule is Monday through Friday, overtime may be required based on work load. No weekends!

*Candidates will be training at our Crystal Lake home base terminal for the first week (paid mileage)*

• Safely operate a straight truck with a combined GVW of greater than 26,000 lbs.
• Be a safe and courteous driver in accordance with JA Frate, CSA, and DOT policies and regulations
• Delivery and pick-up of customers' product in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain organization of product(s) on truck to prevent injury or damage to self or freight
• Unload trucks using hand cart or lift gate when necessary
• Submit neat, legible and complete paperwork daily
• Daily pre and post trip inspections of vehicle, submit VIR daily

• Valid Class B CDL License
• Minimum of 2 years experience
• Minimum 23 years old
• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 36 months and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months.
• Must be able to pass drug screen, DOT physical and Functional Capacity Physical.
• CDL Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsement preferred, or be willing to get within 90 days of hire date.
