<p>Our client is seeking a CDL A Driver for a local, heavy-touch delivery position in Cumberland, RI. This role involves delivering dry and fresh/frozen products and requires full white-glove service, liftgate deliveries, and pallet breakdown.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Guaranteed pay of $1,700 per week</li>
  <li>40 hours per week</li>
  <li>Monday through Friday schedule, with deliveries potentially shifting to Tuesday through Saturday</li>
  <li>Start times between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.</li>
  <li>May require one or two layovers per week</li>
  <li>Hotel accommodations provided for layovers; tractor accommodations are not provided</li>
  <li>Temp-to-perm employment opportunity</li>

  <li><strong>Freight:</strong> Dry and fresh/frozen products, including pet food, supplies, treats, toys, and supplements</li>

  <li><strong>Handling:</strong> Full white-glove service, liftgate deliveries, pallet breakdown, electric pallet jack, and hand cart use</li>
  <li><strong>Training:</strong> 60 hours of online computer training and in-field training before operating the truck</li>
</ul>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Deliver products safely and on schedule to various locations</li>
  <li>Perform heavy-touch, liftgate, and full white-glove deliveries</li>
  <li>Break down pallets and handle freight using an electric pallet jack and hand cart</li>
  <li>Maintain professional service standards during customer deliveries</li>
  <li>Operate assigned equipment safely and responsibly</li>
  <li>Follow all applicable safety regulations and transportation requirements</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid CDL A license</li>
  <li>0+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience</li>
  <li>Prior liftgate delivery experience</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements</li>
</ul>
