<h3>About the Position</h3>
<p>Our client is seeking a CDL A Yard Driver for a local, on-site assignment in Patterson. This role focuses on moving and positioning trailers throughout a distribution center yard, with occasional shuttle runs to Modesto and locations throughout the Bay Area.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>
<ul>
  <li>$30.68 per hour</li>
  <li>Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,350</li>
  <li>Monday through Friday</li>
  <li>11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.</li>
  <li>Approximately 1 to 2 hours of overtime per day may be available based on operational needs</li>
  <li>40 hours per week</li>
  <li>Temp-to-perm opportunity</li>

  <li><strong>Handling:</strong> Move, spot, position, couple, and uncouple loaded and empty trailers</li>
  <li><strong>Work setting:</strong> On-site distribution center and regional shuttle locations</li>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Move, spot, and position loaded and empty trailers throughout the distribution center yard and at dock doors.</li>
  <li>Couple and uncouple tractors and trailers.</li>
  <li>Chock trailers and complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.</li>
  <li>Occasionally shuttle trailers to a warehouse in Modesto and transport trailers to locations throughout the Bay Area.</li>
  <li>Perform no-touch freight operations while following facility, state, federal, DOT, and safety requirements.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License</li>
  <li>1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements</li>
  <li>Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card</li>
  <li>Must be at least 21 years old</li>
</ul>
