Job Description
JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $30.00 Per Hour
Shift: Day Shift, Full Time
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our customers, distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service.
Driving Long Distances: Transport goods to various destinations, often across state lines.
2 - 3 days OTR
Cargo Management: Load, secure, and unload cargo safely.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of working hours and miles driven.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the truck to ensure it is in good 
working condition.
Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
Route Planning: Use GPS and other tools to plan efficient routes.
Communication: Coordinate with dispatchers and communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.
Safety: Monitor traffic and weather conditions to ensure safe driving practices
Qualifications
Class A Commercial Driver's License.
Clean driving record. 
Minimum of two years experience as a truck driver, preferably with long-haul driving.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
Willingness to tarp and strap flatbed loads. 
Experience operating trailer mounted forklift.
Familiarity with electronic equipment and software, such as GPS and AVL units.
Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading cargo

Position may require some off shift/overtime hours when needed for machine breakdowns or preplanned maintenance work (Saturdays when production is not running for example)
