Job Details
Home daily
Primary responsibility is shuttle operations
Haul frozen grocery products in refrigerated trailers
No-touch drop-and-hook freight
Average 5 to 10 shuttle runs per day
Minimum of 3 shuttle runs required daily
Store transfers, trailer moves, and local backhaul pickups may be required
No deliveries into New York City
May assist with supermarket deliveries and other company accounts as needed
Additional Responsibilities
Occasional store deliveries with multi-stop routes
Some deliveries may require the use of an electric pallet jack
Drivers may return product from stores or pick up backhauls returning to the distribution center
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Inspect tractor and trailer tires
Maintain excellent customer service standards
Operate safely and legally at all times

Trucks must remain at the account during time off

Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
Reliable transportation to and from work
