<h3>About the Position</h3>
<p>Our client is seeking a dependable Class A CDL driver for a local heavy equipment delivery position in Louisville. This is a home-daily opportunity involving the transportation and securement of construction and industrial equipment.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>
<ul>
  <li>$30 per hour</li>
  <li>Overtime available after 40 hours</li>
  <li>Monday through Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays</li>
  <li>6:30 a.m. start time</li>
  <li>9- to 10-hour shifts</li>
  <li>40 hours per week</li>
  <li>Weekly pay</li>
</ul>

<h3>Job Details</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Local routes with home-daily scheduling</li>
  <li>Heavy equipment freight</li>
  <li>Equipment may include boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, skid steers, and light towers</li>
  <li>Heavy touch freight requiring chaining and strapping equipment</li>
  <li>Automatic transmission equipment</li>
  <li>Operator certifications provided for forklifts, telehandlers, and boom lifts</li>
</ul>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local delivery routes</li>
  <li>Load, unload, chain, and strap heavy equipment securely</li>
  <li>Transport construction and industrial equipment to customer locations</li>
  <li>Perform physically demanding loading and securement tasks</li>
  <li>Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members</li>
  <li>Maintain a dependable work schedule and positive attitude</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid Class A CDL</li>
  <li>6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience</li>
  <li>6+ months of construction industry experience</li>
  <li>Heavy equipment experience required; boom lift and forklift experience strongly preferred</li>
  <li>Ability to perform physically demanding work</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements</li>
  <li>Strong communication skills</li>
  <li>Dependable work ethic and positive attitude</li>
