The Job:
This is a driver unload account. Drivers are required to hand unload all dry freight using gravity rollers. Each load averages 2 to 6 stops with 2 to 3 loads per week. New drivers will complete a paid training period of approximately 1 to 1.5 weeks riding with a mentor before being assigned their own truck and starting full CPM and unload pay.
The Numbers:
Average weekly pay: $1,700 to $2,100
$0.62 to $0.68 per mile
Average 1,600 to 1,700 miles per week
Unload pay: $320 per load, average 3 loads per week
$200 per day during paid training period
Weekly pay via direct deposit or Comdata
The Route:
75% of freight delivers in Texas and Oklahoma
25% in surrounding states - Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi
2 to 3 loads per week with 2 to 6 stops per load
Home weekly with 34-hour reset
Dry van freight
Freightliner Cascadia or Western Star, automatic transmission
Average truck age: 18 months
Truck permanently assigned to driver
APU on most trucks
Requirements:
Valid CDL-A license
Minimum 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience (40ft or longer)
No more than 2 jobs in the past year
Must be at least 21 years of age
No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years
No felony convictions in the past 7 years
No terminations from last 2 driving jobs
Must pass hair follicle drug screening
