Full Description
Primary Purpose
Transport fresh/frozen poultry to storage yards, cold storage facilities or designated customers. Must be able to follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company requirements to ensure safe transport of product.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Transport fresh/frozen poultry to storage yards, cold storage facilities or designated customers.
- Unload product from trucks as needed.
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain working operations.
- Report vehicle or delivery issues to the Dispatcher.
- Follow all company safety policies, standard operating procedure (SOP) regulations, as well as support the Goal Zero mission statement.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years of active CDL Class A experience.
- Possess a valid CDL Class A license.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Must be able to meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
